just my favourite weekend lunch. this time i want to try mincing a knob of fresh turmeric root and throwing it in the butter. smells and tastes great [image]

i made enough of both versions for pouring over fish and asparagus dindin tonight.

Oooh! I want to bake triangular bread. Beautiful!! What an elegant lunch. I've been shoving sandwiches in my face while standing at the kitchen sink.

i love this rye bread. it's so seedy and chewy. takes ages to gnaw. so nice! the bread stall at the saturday market gets some German breads from Germany to sell along with normal spongy NL breads. the German breads go really fast though, so i have to be quick before they're all scooped up.

you don't have a chair? j/k. i know you've been busy.

speaking of nice breads......... we're going to Duesseldorf tomorrow to drink beer and eat German food, and bring back breads

it's a long ascension weekend this week.
